Elsie’s Story was created in memory of our daughter, Elsie Dot Stancombe, who we lost in Southport in July 2024.

 

We didn’t want what happened to Elsie to define her. It was important to us that she is remembered for the love she gave, the warmth she radiated, and the good she continues to inspire.

 

That is Elsie’s Story. A story about kindness, love and positivity.

That promise is how Elsie’s Story Charitable Trust began, a promise that her story would continue.

 

Our charity is about showing love in our communities and proving that love will always win. That even after one of the most devastating acts, goodness will always shine through.

 

Our purpose is to support children and families who need it most, through grants and community projects. It’s about creating smiles, bringing people together, and making a difference in our communities.

 

For us, this is also a way of continuing to be Elsie’s Mum and Dad, and giving her little sister a way to carry her forward with love.

 

It’s about making a difference in her name, and showing children that even in the hardest moments, there is still so much good in the world.
